Vihiga Woman Loses 12 Children in Bizarre Circumstances
In a heart-wrenching revelation, a woman from Vihiga County has opened up about a tragic chapter in her life, losing all 12 of her children in mysterious circumstances.
Safina Buguza, who now lives alone, shared her devastating story of love, loss, and the struggle to cope with such an immense tragedy.
Buguza, a mother of six boys and six girls, recalled how her children’s lives were inexplicably cut short. “I was also surprised by their death. I never understood what the issue was. Sometimes, they would get sick and then pass away,” she said, unable to hold back the pain of losing her entire family. The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unclear, adding to the confusion and heartbreak she has lived with for years.
Despite the repeated loss, Buguza’s husband remained by her side, showing extraordinary resilience and support through their difficult times. “He never beat or blamed me. He was always quiet. I cannot remember any given time he gave me a cold shoulder because of losing the children,” she said, praising her husband’s unwavering loyalty during their tragic ordeal.
Their story, however, took another turn when life’s harsh realities began to weigh on them. Her husband, who worked menial jobs to support the family, faced hardships when his employer evicted him from his land.
It was then that he disappeared from Buguza’s life without a word. “He did not say he was going. He left me alone with the two kids. They became my responsibility as I had to look for work to feed them,” she explained, revealing the new burden she had to bear.
Today, Buguza lives with the memory of her lost children and the uncertainty surrounding their deaths. The painful recollections of her vanished husband and the overwhelming loneliness she endures serve as a haunting reminder of the fragility of life.
