‘UDA is a National Disease’ – Business Tycoon Drops Bombshells on Kindiki, Sudi, and Farouk Circus
Businessman Zedekiah Bundotich, known as Buzeki, has taken a stand against the ruling party, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), claiming they have only made the country’s social and economic issues worse.
In a statement released on Saturday, June 28, 2025, Buzeki expressed that the UDA government has become known for a leadership approach that favors questionable deals over genuine public service.
“UDA doesn’t solve problems. They are the problem. Every morning, they wake up not to serve Kenya but to shady deals that kill jobs and suffocate hope,” he stated.
He pointed out that the fuel levy has gone up from Ksh18 to Ksh25, a change he fears will lead to a fresh wave of job losses and push the cost of living even higher.

“Fuel levy from Ksh18 to Ksh25, more jobs will vanish in a few, and more youth will join the epic Wantam chorus!” he added.
Additionally, he has taken aim at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, presidential aide Farouk Kibet, and MP Oscar Sudi’s Economic Empowerment Programs, arguing that they focus more on flashy presentations than on real substance.
“Silly empowerment circus by Kindiki/Farouk/Sudi and others. UPIMBI!! No scratch kwa ground. (Dumb! Out of touch with no basis for Kenyans,” he stated.
Buzeki is joining a chorus of leaders who are voicing their concerns about Kindiki’s economic empowerment program. Among them is Rigathi Gachagua, who heads the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).
Gachagua’s criticism
Gachagua stated that funds have been redirected to key institutions, which are then used to support the so-called empowerment programs.
“There is no money for capitation in our schools, and principals are subjected to a game of musical chairs by the government. They are torn between admitting auctioneers to settle unpaid bills or sending pupils home for levies,” he said.
“Our hospitals are mere shells, crippled by a failed healthcare system and hollow promises from the government.”
Gachagua claimed that the taxes collected from Kenyans, including those taken from paychecks, are being mishandled by politicians instead of being used for essential public services.
On May 23, 2025, Kindiki stood up for the initiatives, emphasizing that the economic empowerment programs for mama mbogas and boda boda riders are here to stay.
“We are not about to stop the Empowerment Engagement Programme,” he said, adding that those criticizing the program are used to deceiving Kenyans just to get their votes.
“Those criticizing the empowerment program are used to hoodwinking the voters during the campaigns, but disappear when they are voted in.”
He mentioned that the Kenya Kwanza administration has chosen to steer clear of political squabbles and instead focus on enhancing the livelihoods and boosting incomes for the citizens, all while working on the country’s development.
