Shock: Form 4 Student on the Run After Killing Uncle Over Food Dispute
A family in Ong’eche, Katho Sub-Location, is in deep distress after the tragic death of one of their members.
A 41-year-old man was reportedly fatally stabbed by his 19-year-old niece, a high school senior, after a disagreement involving maize flour.
The local area leader, speaking with Citizen Digital, explained that the situation started when the man arrived home intoxicated and began mistreating his elderly grandmother. This action angered the Form Four student, who then confronted her uncle, resulting in a fierce argument between the two.
The conflict intensified when the man tried to steal flour from the elderly woman’s home. In a burst of anger, the student, in an attempt to stop him, stabbed her uncle in the chest.
The 41-year-old man fell to the ground, bleeding heavily. He tragically died from the chest wound he received.
The student escaped from the location and is currently missing. Police have initiated a search to locate her.
The deceased’s body was subsequently transferred to the Ahero Sub-County Hospital morgue for storage while investigations continue.
