Renowned preacher and former member of the Longombas music duo, Prophet Lovy, has stirred conversation online after declaring he prophesied the transition of leadership at the Vatican.
Taking to Instagram, Lovy posted a video in which he described a powerful vision he received. According to him, he foresaw significant developments taking place at the Vatican, including the symbolic sight of smoke—a sign closely associated with papal elections.
“I saw smoke rising by the end of April. And as we all know, black smoke means a new pope has been chosen,” Lovy shared in the video. “So, the real question is—did the current pope die, or did he retire?”

“He had black hair—not that he was a black man—but he wasn’t like the previous popes,” Lovy said. “The ground was shifting. It felt like something extraordinary was happening.”

In the caption of his Instagram post, Lovy made a direct connection between his prophecy and the current global religious climate. He boldly stated that he had foreseen the passing of Pope Francis on Saturday, March 8th, 2025.
“I prophesied the death of Pope Francis on March 8. This marks how close we are to the return of the King of Kings,” the preacher wrote. “Tonight on Revealed, I will explain more. Stay watchful and prayerful—Jesus is Lord.”
