Senators Kaba Methu and Karen Nyamu Spark Hilarious Online Feud Over KUTRH CEO Change
Nyandarua Senator Kaba Methu and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu have found themselves in the midst of a lighthearted yet fiery online exchange, which has captured the attention of their social media followers.
The playful banter began when Methu shared a post on Facebook regarding the recent leadership changes at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH).
Methu announced the replacement of Isaac Kamau, the acting CEO, by Zainab Gura, while also implying that the move was part of an initiative to combat tribalism within the institution.
His post read, “Isaac Kamau, the acting CEO of Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH), has been removed and replaced by Zainab Gura, who is also acting. The board that appointed Kamau has been disbanded. We are ending tribal politics and ignorance.”
Nyamu responded in the comments, reminding Methu that the position was temporary and he should not criticize Kamau’s replacement.
“Ask him what acting CEO means. I’m sure he knew that was a temporary position,” she commented.
Methu, known for his quick wit, wasn’t about to let the exchange die there. He fired back at Nyamu with a playful retort, advising her to keep her comments in check until it was time for her signature moves. “I will call you when people start twerking,” Methu responded, a humorous jab at Nyamu’s well-known dancing skills, turning the political debate into a viral moment.
The humorous exchange between the two senators has not only amused their followers but also highlighted the lighter side of Kenyan politics.
Both senators have long been active on social media, engaging in debates and discussions, but this particular back-and-forth shows their playful rapport and ability to take a joke.
As the political world watches the unfolding saga, fans are eagerly awaiting the next witty comment from either side.
