Prophet Predicts Turmoil for Ruto’s Government Following Deputy President’s Ouster
In a heated moment for Kenya’s political landscape, Apostle John Kimani William has issued a bold prophecy concerning the fate of President William Ruto’s government after the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking on the matter during a sermon, the preacher said, “Judgement will be set upon them with the same measure they used,” referring to the actions of the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Apostle Kimani emphasized that only God could judge the government, warning that the repercussions of Gachagua’s impeachment would not go unnoticed.
He continued, urging national leaders to seek guidance from a higher authority, stating that divine intervention would play a crucial role in shaping the future of the government. “Let them remember, it is God who holds the ultimate judgment,” he reiterated during his address.
Gachagua’s impeachment came after being charged with five out of 11 accusations, including gross violations of the constitution and inciting ethnic tension.
The motion was supported by opposition leaders as well as some members from Ruto’s camp. However, Gachagua firmly denied all allegations, claiming that the charges were fabricated and politically motivated.
On Friday, Kenya’s parliament approved the appointment of Interior Minister Kithure Kindiki to take over Gachagua’s position.
However, Kindiki’s swearing-in has been delayed as Gachagua and other affected parties have filed legal challenges. A court ruling has temporarily halted any official transition, leaving the country’s political arena in suspense.
President Ruto, who has been notably distant from Gachagua since the impeachment, has yet to make an official statement regarding the proceedings.
However, in a speech on Sunday during a national holiday celebration, Ruto urged for national unity, calling for an end to “tribalism and exclusion.” Despite his public calls for cohesion, tensions between the two political figures continue to rise.
Meanwhile, Gachagua has expressed concern for his safety, alleging that his security detail has been withdrawn. “It’s the most unfortunate thing that has ever happened in this country that you can be so vicious to a man who helped you to be President,” Gachagua told journalists, putting the blame squarely on President Ruto.
