Luxury Car Dealer Khalif Kairo Responds to Arrest Allegations Amid Fraud Claims
Car dealer and popular social media personality Khalif Kairo, also known as Joseph Kairo Wambui, has broken his silence following reports about his recent arrest.
On Tuesday, December 3, NTV reported that Kairo was taken into custody and detained at Kasarani Police Station. Authorities allege that he misled a client in a high-value luxury car transaction.
According to Kasarani Sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer Justus Ombati, Kairo was apprehended by law enforcement. Reports indicate that he received a substantial payment from a customer but failed to deliver the vehicles or issue a refund.
It is alleged that Kairo defrauded the client of KSh26 million. Police reportedly arrested him at one of his car dealerships alongside three of his employees.
