The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is inviting applications for its 2025 internship program, aimed at providing fresh graduates with practical experience in their fields of study.
This program is tailored for recent degree and diploma holders, enabling them to gain essential skills needed to complement their academic qualifications. According to a social media post by KRA, the organization stated:
“Are you a fresh Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma graduate eager to gain hands-on experience? KRA is now accepting applications for the January to December 2025 Internship Program and Pupillage Program Opportunities (May 2025 to April 2026 intake).”
KRA Paid Internship Program Key Details and Benefits
The application deadline is Monday, December 23, 2024. Those selected for the program will receive a monthly stipend of KSh 25,000 for degree holders and KSh 18,000 for diploma holders, subject to statutory deductions.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be Kenyan citizens aged 35 or younger by their next birthday.
- Possess a diploma or first degree from a recognized institution earned between January 2023 and December 2024.
- Be available full-time for the entire 12-month program.
- Not have prior work experience or completed internships in their area of specialization.

Interested candidates can apply through the KRA e-recruitment portal. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Register on the portal: Click the “Register” button and provide your details.
- Email verification: Confirm your email through a link sent to your inbox.
- Log in: Use your credentials to access the “Applicant Cockpit.”
- Create or update your profile: Navigate to “Candidate Profile,” input your details, and complete the setup by clicking “Overview and Release.”
- Search for jobs: Under the “Employment Opportunities” section, click “Start” to browse available roles.
- Submit your application: Fill out all required fields and submit your application after reviewing the Data Privacy Statement.
